Hydro-garden

We made this hydroponic garden to grow fresh vegetables all year long.
We also wanted it to be self maintained.
It needed to use little space and be quite.
And the least amount of energy possible.
Plus it has to be on wheels so we can move it out of the way.

First we researched hydroponic gardening. Here is a good site for that. www.flairform.com
And lighting spectrums. The wiki was the best place for that.

We used the Nutrient Flim Technique re-circulating system.
(Trust me it only sounds complicated its very simple.)
The lighting used was 23watt blue and red spectrum bulbs from the hardware store. "mega cheap"
(those lights worked very well at close range without damaging the plants.)
The rest of the supplies we got out of the recycle bins. We recycle metals to pay for all of the projects we do.

Total cost of this project was under 50.00 dollars.
